Tin Farm 5

Stop Press:

Dinah and I have decided to take another year off! There will be no TF5 in 2018. We're both pretty busy at the moment and feel like we can't give it the time that it deserves.

As I said last year, this is not the end. We do hope to run it again, just at a time that feels right for us.

Please pass this message on. With the new GDPR regulations I am no longer able to use email lists from previous races to contact people.

 Our Mission

To encourage participation in and promotion of running in Mid Argyll.

Junior Race

To celebrate 10 years of TF5 we are running a junior race this year to take place one hour before the main event

The course is still being finalised but will be roughly 1mile (and no longer than 1.5miles).  It will mainly be on tarmac roads around the estate but we hope to include a run along the beach.

The route will be (very) well marshaled and we plan to have two or three marshals who will run with the children to encorouge then and keep them safe.  We would be delighted if any parents want to join their children and jog along with them.

Age Categories (for male and female)

Age 8 - 10

Age 11 - 13

All ages are taken on day of race

Race Day Info

The course will be well marked and there will be marshals at various key points.

Please note - there will not be water stations on the course.

All finishers will receive a race memento and goody bag.  There will be soup and sandwiches available in Ormsary Hall after the race for all runners.

Supporters and family members not racing may purchase soup and sandwiches at a small additional charge.

Mid Argyll Scouts will again be providing all the refreshments. All money made from the sale of refreshments will go towards supporting the great work that they do locally.  Please dig deep and support them.
